I ordered Vostro 1400 laptop on Black Friday, last 27th November 2007, after 1 hour and half on the phone, talking with German Rivera Iraheta,
German_Rivera@Dell.com, 1-800-289-3355 x 7250097. My Customer number was: 88494411 , Dell Purchase 2000160417695.
After I received an email with the confirmation, I noticed that this sales representative, forgot to add the Blu Ray disk on the laptop, so the following day, I called again and I talked with Gustavo Ganem Simon, Gustavo_Ganem@Dell.com, 1-800-289-3355 x 2167789.
So he made me switch from the Vostro 1400 (which is for business) to the Inspiron 1521 model, and the Order number was changed to: 945680000, Purchase ID: 20000164721977 and the Customer Number 88573359. The ordered was delay until 6th december 2007 with a 100$ gift card and with Blu Ray on it, with the price of 1068$ with tax included.
December 6th have passed, nothing was shipped and I called Dell again, and I was answered by Mirna Orellana Rivas, Mirna_Orellana@Dell.com, Phone: 800-274-0696 ext: 87104 and she told me that the order will be delayed again until 17th December 2007.
Today, 17th December, I tried to contacted Customer Care and Dell Customer Service and India Customer service, all of them with no good answers or explanations and no success. I tried to contacted Gustavo Ganem Simon,Mirna Orellana and Eduardo Velasco ( a supervisor) with no success too!! A guy named Rahul Gutspa from India Customer Service, called me saying that the order is delayed because the item has not been tested yet, so I would like to know how Dell is selling products that have not been tested before. Also he told me to go to Wallmart if im on a hurry, if i can not wait, but I told him I will wait for this so I would like to know how Dell is selling products that have not been tested yet.
More than 20 days have passed and that is not the problem about testing, something wrong is happening here. Stop ripping off customers and work in a respectfull manner, please. This is the third computer that I order, and I have problems with all of them but not something similar to this particular situation. I would like to know who is the responsible for Dell, and receive a respond from a supervisor, manager or with the President of the company, Dell should have respect with customers, and this company does not have it at all!
I will wait for an answer as soon as possible. Thanks.
