Like so many others, I clicked on a link to check my FICO score and found a charge on my debit card the next month for $21.95.
Experian claims that I “signed up” for their monthy service and agreed to the charge. When I disputed they refused to reverse the charge.
This is the behavior you’d expect from some russian warez site not one of the largest credit reporting agencies in America. I can’t imagine that more than 1% of their “customers” intended to sign up for their $21.95/mo. service, but Experian seems pretty happy with their business model of getting $21.95 out of each of their victims, then having them cancel pissed off.
They’re just teaching douchiness and criminality in American business schools anymore. Bankers are little more than sneak theives. You’re better of keeping your money in your mattress. Certainly you’re better off never having anything to do with Experian.
