FELICCI&CO at 238 Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 is a fraudulent business.
It may seems like a legit business when you there, but the diamond ring that I brought in for repairs was swapped with a plain Cubic Zirconia.
The diamond was GIA certified, there is an appraisal for another jeweler of $8000 and it was verified by FELLICI was it was brought in. FELICCI confirmed when the ring was brought in that the stone was a diamond. The ring was repaired and everything seemed to be ok when we picked it up. They did however not check the ring again when handing it over to us.
When we returned a few months later they said the ring and diamond they worked on in the past was not a diamond – It is important to note here that the ring did not leave my wife’s finger during that time. It was not brought in elsewhere for cleaning or anything of that kind. The only place the diamond could have been swapped was at their store.
Being confronted with this the manager at FELICCI, Ben, from the beginning acted like it was not his problem. He downplayed the whole story. They have no paperwork or computer system to know who worked on the ring or who has brought it to/from the jeweler. During the week that they had the ring in their possession anyone at that store could have taken the ring and swapped it.
If found out later after having talked with other people at that store that they have an off-site’ location of which they refuse to disclose the location. It could have happened at that non-disclosed location or going to/back from their store on Stockton Street or anytime at their store.
It is clear to me, FELICCI IS A SCAM !!!.
I’m never going back there. If it’s one thing that is important, then it’s to be able to trust the jeweler you do business with.
I hope that anyone reading this takes a lesson from it and does not go to FELICCI; for certain I won’t ever again.
