I joined MCI around November or December of last year. I had my number changed because I was getting unwanted called. They tried to bill me for changing the number. It was a free service the first time. They were suppose to make my number unlisted, unpublished. They did not.
I joined on the neighborhood complete plan, $49.99/mo.
In March,2003, they changed my plan to neighborhood plus plan, expensive plan, long-distance calls billed individually. They were taking the payments out of my checking account via my visa check card. By the time I realized what was going on it was July 1st. I called immediately. They said that they would credit my card for the over charges.
It is now Sep 5th and I got another bill for August with the incorrect balance on it again. Plus I still don’t have the money they owe me yet. They tell me to give them three months. That money should have been back in my checking account no more than 30 days from the day of the credit.
So my account remains screwed up and they are overbilling me and I still have not received the money they owe me. They took the money out of my account on the day it was due and they caused me alot of problems with my bank and now they are telling me that I have to wait another month or more to get answers about where my money is.
