PhiladelphiaBoxOffice  – Awful. Sold me two seats with big column in front of me

Bought on web Friday night for Saturday show at the site I was referred to my the Academy’s web site. First page NO mention of a poor seat. Didn’t choose the two cheaper seats because I wanted a good one. Clicked “buy” and saw nothing. (When I reviewed process later I saw a note at the bottom saying “limited sight view.”) Not until I bought the nonrefundable, nonexchangeable ticket did my receipt actually say “Obstructed View — Column.” Got gift tickets from friends earlier this year for Wicked and had similar column seats. We paid more than $300 and stayed home, bought the CD from Amazon, and shared the libretto. We were flat-out misled. No contact for Ticket Philadelphia. Called Academy box office and lady said that their vendors “were contractually bound” to list problem, so it was there. No help.
