PhiladelphiaBoxOffice  – Not happy at all

UPDATE: It has now been a few more weeks and I still have not received a return phone call and I also see that Philly Box office has not responded to my review. I’ve already told quite a number of people about my experience and I will NEVER again purchase tickets from them again.

I recently purchased tickets to the Lion King at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. Upon checkout I was made aware that my tickets were “Limited View Seating.” I researched this and learned it means just that–based on your seats you may have a LIMITED view. After completing the purchase, I received an email with my tickets, which I downloaded. One of the tickets contained the statement “Limited View Seating.” The other ticket contained the statement “Obstructed View-Column.” I called customer service and played phone tag with a woman who left a message on my cell phone stating that I was made aware of this before I purchased my tickets. I called back and left another message and no one returned my call. It’s been over a week since I left my last message. In each message I was very polite and professional. I feel that there is a huge difference between limited view and obstructed view-column, and clearly they do too as they distinguished this on one of the tickets after the purchase was complete. I feel the obstructed view should have been indicated BEFORE the purchase was complete for obvious reasons. This is all unacceptable, especially for what I paid for these tickets.
