Raiditem – Demanded personal information, including full Credit Card!
Placed an order this morning for their smallest amount of gold. Wanted to see if the site was worth spending the money on.
(Spoiler Alert: It’s not!)
Demanded personal information, then refused to refund until I threatened a Paypal dispute. I asked for a refund after being told I had to provide my Driver’s License, send them the original paypal receipt, a non modified photo of my credit card (Do yall want the 3 digit code too??), oh and my passport! Why does a gold selling site need my passport and full credit card?
Asked for refund over a dozen times on live chat, was told they were ‘too busy’ to refund me. Threatened to dispute on PayPal and include screenshots of the live chat. Finally got my refund.
It is simply my thought, they are probably taking the CC #’s and using them to buy their stock.
I’ll just pay the international fee and pay directly to the game. At least they don’t demand enough information for any Joe Schmoe to steal an identity!
Edit: After writing the review I was scrolling the trustpilot page, where raiditem claims they are located in “75050 Grand Prairie United States”
Their PayPal states they are “Non-US – Verified”
