Word of caution to anyone who is considering purchasing a device from XTool.

I purchased a D1 Pro, filtration kit, and enclosure (totaling almost $2k); the D1 and the filter shipped together and on time, but the enclosure arrived almost 2 weeks late. I couldn’t even use it to make christmas gifts as I had planned.

There were also basic functionality issues such as: Limit switches kept malfunctioning and stopping the laser mid-design, not to mention that incessant beeping noise that woke up everyone within a mile’s radius. Some designs for no reason come out warped, like instead of a circle, it comes out like a smushed oval on the surface of what you’re engraving.

There’s also a LOT more that I have neglected to mention here, like misleading ads and statements such as “color engraving is automatic”, “just engrave as you normally would and the color will appear”.

Not only did they sell me a product that DOES NOT WORK, they are also DEMANDING THAT I PAY A 30% RESTOCKING FEE AND RETURN SHIPPING. Absolutely unacceptable! Avoid doing business with xtool.

Update: Still waiting for refund to be issued.
